General contract terms and conditions.

The Golden Leaf Mission
Our mission is to create memories for our guests which will last a lifetime. When you book your accommodation with Golden Leaf, to us, you are not just another visitors or tourists, you are our guests, and we will do everything in our power to make sure your stay is a comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
In order to reserve one of our vacation homes everyone who is traveling must be at least 21 years old or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Typically, children under the age of 3 do not count toward maximum occupancy.
Each home offers the maximum amount of people that can occupy the residence. Sometimes this includes extra guests which is specifically stated on the listing. Croatian law prohibits more guests then the registered capacity of the home.
Each one of our properties has the following cancellation policy: 14-day, 30-day, 60-day and 90-day. The cancellation policy for each listing is stated on the actual listing. For more information, see our CANCELLATION POLICY section.
Each property has a different set of rules in regards to pets. If you want to search for pet friendly homes, us the additional search options. Each listing will specify there pet policy. In some instances, pets will be allowed, but only for an extra charge.
One one stays are usually reserved for rooms and small apartments. This is because of the logistics that it takes to prepare a home for each new guests. Homes & Villas are not like hotel rooms, they require hours of meticulous cleaning and attention before each new group of guests. However, feel free to book the minimum amount of days allowed and stay only for one day.
The amounts that need to be paid are covered in the CANCELLATION POLICY. However, a general rule is that 30% payment must be made in order to confirm your reservation. All reservation made 10 days prior to arrival are required to be paid in full.
Some of our homes are perfect for weddings and events. Depending on the homes, this may come with an additional fee, parking restrictions and maximum amount of guests. Please call us for more information regarding this at +385992864700.
Please get in touch with our office for any modification of your reservation. We usually try to accommodate all requests, but sometimes there could be additional fees depending on the change.
Yes, we can give better prices for all stays that are 30+ days.
As long as your changes are requested at least 30 days prior to arrival, we will try to accommodate your request. However, changes are also subject to the availability of other homes. If the modification is to a more expensive rental, then you are required to pay the difference. We allow all of our guests to cancel or make any modifications to there reservations up to 48 hour from the time of booking.
By booking a reservation, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by Golden Leaf rental policies terms and conditions. Some of our homes will require you to sign a reservation contract agreeing to policies that are specific to that home. We ask that you review and sign the contract and return it to us via email.
Through our website or safe payment link which you may receive from our office. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards.
Smoking is prohibited inside all of our homes.
Our homes are equipped with all of the essentials, including linens and fresh towels. Each listing will give details as to what is provided.
Please see the features and amenities section of the home listing. Golden Leaf also provides a few items to get you started, including: soap, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish-washing liquid, dishwasher pacs/pods, dish brush, kitchen trash bags, and small trash can liners. If there is something specific that you require, please let us know.
Rental properties are individually owned and each home will have a different cable vs streaming option. Golden Leaf cannot guarantee Television service or TV Channel availability. You can make a request for individual homes and we can get back to you.
LOCATION & CHECK-IN/OUT PROCEDURES
We provide in-person check-in for most of our guests, so keys will be given to you by one of our employees. In the instance that you may need to perform self-check-in, instructions will be sent to you at least 7 days prior to your arrival. This includes driving instructions and any other information that you will need in order to safely arrival and enter your property.
Early check-ins could be available depending on our availability. We kindly ask you to inform us 3 days prior to your arrival in case you will require an early check-in and our Team will assist you with this.
Our Check-in time is from 4 PM and guests can arrive any time after. Early check ins could be available depending on our availability. For arrivals after 10 PM please let us know as well 3 days prior to arrival. There may be an additional fee for late and extra late check-in’s.
Our Check-out time is at 10 AM. Please let us know if you will require a late check-out and we will do our best to grant your request. (Additional fees may apply)
HOUSEKEEPING & ESSENTIALS
No. Guests are not allowed to clean after their own stay. They are however required to tidy up the house, collect all the trash in one area, clean and put away the dishes. This is specified in the contract terms. Our housekeepers meet very strict guidelines and are required to clean the home after each guest vacates.
Golden Leaf provides a starter kit of supplies which should be enough to cover your entire stay. However, in the event that you should require extra, please let us know. Some items that we provide like paper towels are only a starter and guests need to purchase more if they require.
Please check in all cabinets ,under the sink and above the refrigerator. If there is something missing that you think should have been provided, please let us know. We may either bring them to you or we can reimburse you if you purchase them yourselves.
Everything should have been checked and shown to you during check-in. If you cannot get something to work, there may be house instructions available or you will be given a contact person for these types of questions during the check-in process.
All our homes are thoroughly cleaned after each stay. However, we are unable to guarantee that you will not have a reaction to a home that has been regularly occupied by pets.
LOST AND FOUND
If we find it, we will return your lost item to you if you call us within two weeks of your departure date. We do charge a 25€ fee, plus shipping to cover the cost of labor, drive time, and postal fees. Any items not claimed within two weeks will be donated to a local charity.
