Krka Waterfalls Tour

Krka National Park is known for its 16 waterfalls, traditional watermills and beautiful scenic hiking trails.  Visiting this park should be must on everyone’s bucket list when visiting Dalmatia.  Though it tends to be very touristy during the summer and gets busy at times, it is definitely worth it.  Tours of the park can be guided or you can roam freely.  Most organized tours to Krka include visits to other nearby medieval towns such as Primošten or Šibenik depending on the season.

Blue Cave & 5 Islands Tour

This tour takes you to the island of Biševo where you will be escorted through the blue cave or “modra špilja” in Croatian.  The boat ride to the island is an adventure in itself and takes you to the most beautiful beaches in the area such as Stiniva bay on the island of Vis.  During your adventure you will visit five islands and spend your day swimming, snorkeling, island hopping, exploring island towns and of course making cool memories.

National Park Plitvice Lakes

Plitvice national park is the most renowned natural site in Croatia.  Its untouched nature has been the backdrop of many productions and is the site that attracts the most visitors every year.  Besides walking, visitors can use a boat or electric train that takes them through the main areas of the park while snapping pictures from their seats.  The park has 16 terraced lakes each flowing into the other via 92 magnificent waterfalls.  There are eight walkways and hiking trails that extend around and across the water ranging from 3 to 18 km long.  Many visitors to the park say that it is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena’s that they have every visited.

Rapid Rafting Tours with Picnic

If you like rafting then this is a must when you visit Split.  Located above the town of Omiš is the famous Cetina river that runs down the mountain and into the sea.  This adrenaline filled tour is sure to create fantastic memories and provide an unforgettable experience.  The total excursion lasts about three hours and you will be with an experienced guide the entire time.  The adventure ends in a place called Radmanove Mlinice, a beautiful picnic area where you will find many locals. There is also a restaurant their where you can enjoy some local cuisine.  It may not be the best restaurant in Dalmatia, but after a fun filled day on the river, it’s nice to take a break with a cold beer or what the locals like to drink called “gemišt” (pronounced gemisht, it’s basically white wine with sparkling water).

Sea Kayaking Tours (With E-Scooters)

Sea kayaking is always another one of my favorite activities and lets you spend the entire day on the sea swimming, snorkeling and enjoying the stunning views.  This excursion takes you around Marjan city park where I am sure you will take the most memorable photos of your vacation.  There is no prior experience needed for this tour, just an adventurous spirit and a desire to have fun and spend the day on the sea.  The total tour takes about 2.5 – 3.5 hours and starts in the Split harbor where you will get your own e-scooter to take Marjan Hill.
