Guest Safety – Our Commitment

GUEST SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY AT GOLDEN LEAF PROPERTIES.
In this blog we are providing you with insights and tips on how we are protecting our Vacation Rental Properties. We want to give you and your family peace of mind when travelling to Croatia.
All of our guests will benefit from our professional communication with you, our guests. Because, guest safety is paramount.
Our rigorous standards and end-to-end services are set out below:

Protective Gear
All housekeepers and inspectors wear protective gear, including face masks, when cleaning.
Hand sanitiser dispensers will be placed inside the front door of the majority of our holiday homes. This is so guests, owners, cleaners, and any visitors can disinfect their hands upon entry and/or exit.
Sanitisation of ALL Bedding & Linens
All Golden Leaf Property holiday rental properties will use standardised linens, bedding and towels. ALL linens and towels will be professionally laundered between guest arrivals.
For guest safety, back-up blankets and comforters are sealed in bags and stored. Protective pillow covers are cleaned and sanitised for additional safety. Being extra cautious, if you are concerned, you may want to bring your own personal pillows for added safety.
Direct Check-In
All contracts will be signed electronically. Enhanced check-in procedures will allow guests to check-in immediately on arrival. Before your arrival, you will be advised of these procedures. Specifics will directly depend on the property you have chosen to holiday in.

Extended Time Between Check-In
For the foreseeable future Golden Leaf Properties will be employing an extended disinfection period between each departure and arrival.
When guests depart, all linen, bedding and towels will be stripped. All surfaces will be cleaned with an approved disinfectant agent. This agent kills up to 21 germs and viruses, including Corona Virus.
Housekeeping crews will then clean and sanitise the home. Once cleaning is complete the property will be examined. Guest safety is paramount to us all.
Door handles, light switches and remote controls will be disinfected to ensure rentals are fully sanitised and prior to new guests arriving.
Please remember this when requesting early check-ins. Time is needed for safety measures to be carried out.
Guest Commitment
For your safety while on holiday we recommend all within your group or family, commit to the following practices:
Practice social distancing – Put distance (approximately 2 metres) between yourself and others
Wash your hands often – It is critical to wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid Contact – Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
Wear a cloth face cover in public– When going into a public setting, including supermarkets, grocery stores, gas stations, cafes etc., wear a face cover to protect yourself and those surrounding you.
Maintain standards during your rental period – If your holiday home does not include daily housekeeping it is up to you to maintain a clean environment for the term of your stay. This means cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces daily, including tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, faucets and sinks etc.
